Who We Are
COACh was formed in 1998 by a group of senior women faculty in the chemical sciences from across the U.S. with a common concern about the gender based obstacles women scientists face in trying to attain their career goals.
COACh Goals
COACh currently has over 400 members (men and women) that are interested in making institutional changes that will lead to an increase in the numbers and success of women in science and engineering.
COACh collaborates widely with other organizations and institutions both in the US and internationally.
COACh is guided by an Advisory Board that assists in all aspects of the organization.
COACh has funding from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Energy, Basic Energy Sciences.
