The Department of Chemistry at Michigan State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in inorganic chemistry at the assistant professor level. Outstanding candidates in all areas of synthetic and experimental inorganic chemistry—including bioinorganic chemistry, catalysis, nanoscience and solid state chemistry— with research interests in energy science are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates should have an established track record of productivity and evidence of potential for independent research, and are expected to develop a vigorous, externally-funded research program and contribute to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in chemistry or related field at the time of appointment.
