2019 Africa Materials Research Society Meeting. Arusha, Tanzania December 2019
COACh had the pleasure of being part of the 10th International Conference of the African Materials Research Society (AMRS) held this week in Arusha. The conference brings together over 700 materials science researchers from all over the world. It’s a great meeting for scientific and research communities to build knowledge, foster relationships and promote action for further understanding and collaborations in the broad fields associated with materials science and technology. The meeting was held at the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology. Prof. Richmond gave two COACh workshops, one on publishing and the other on proposal writing. Big thanks to everyone for inviting COACh to be involved in another Africa MRS meeting.

This COACh workshops sponsored by USAID brought together grantees from around Africa that have been funded on a collaborative research project between scientists in the US and those in Africa. Prof. Richmond gave a workshop on Effective Negotiation that was well attended by many of the participants. Sponsored by U.S. Global Development Laboratory and the National Academies of Sciences.
