COACh at the CSIR/US Department of State & Joint Services Science and Technology Workshop Johannesburg, South Africa September, 2011
The overarching goal of the workshop was to identify critical areas where the CSIR and the United States Joint Services can add to each other capabilities and to form strategic collaborations and alliances in those areas. Nanotechnology Environmental Health and Safety was identified prior to the meeting as one of the core areas where there was significant interest on the part of the US Joint Services and CSIR. COACh leaders Profs. Hilary Godwin and Geri Richmond were invited to talk about their scientific research as well as to meet with women scientists at CSIR.
