Got a great research idea that needs financial support? This workshop module provides the basic essentials for writing a successful grant proposal and navigating the submission and review process.   Topics include identifying the priorities of the agency or program solicitation, understanding the review process, determining criteria for assessment and writing to the criteria, developing a format for the proposal, identifying the objectives of the research project and why anyone should care, discussing examples of successful proposal formats, developing a budget and cost assessment, interacting with program officers and agencies and developing research partnerships.
